Washing 'em shirts
After running the shirts through the laundry cycle, the second round of dyeing is finally complete and the results have been very interesting. More after the jump. The amount of black dye added to the bath was uncanny. I thought the shirts would be black-black. That wasn’t the case at all.

It ranged from a dark grey to a dark indigo to a blue and even a very light shade of grey. The ones that are too light will be dyed a third time. The results are much more satisfying than before and I’m going to run with them. Overall, the dyeing process was a great learning experience, but I think I’ll leave that up to the pros and focus on the design and the actual screen printing. This style of tees will just be a limited run unless my audience shows an interest in this.
